Bangunan ini adalah sebuah bengkel dan showroom dengan konsep modern kotemporer. Bengkel dan showroom 'MY CAR' namanya, terletak diatas sebuah lahan dengan luasan 30 x 102 m2, dan berlokasi di Jl. Pangeran Ratu Ali, Sungai Pinang, Banyuasin, Palembang, Sumatera Selatan. Secara fungsi, bangunan ini tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai bengkel atau tempat servis mobil saja, melainkan juga ada fungsi-fungsi lain seperti toko variasi, showroom mobil bekas, tempat cuci mobil, mushola dan juga café.

2. Eksterior View 2

Istilah Folded Showroom berasal dari lipatan-lipatan yang terlihat pada eksterior bangunan ini. Dari awal diskusi klien sudah menghendaki sebuah bangunan yang bisa tampil futuristic, sebuah bangunan modern kontemporer dengan bentukan yang progresif dan eyecatching. Klien menginginkan showroom dan bengkel terlihat unik dan menjadi perhatian banyak orang. Dengan demikian nilai komersil dari showroom dan bengkel ini menjadi naik. Dari beberapakali asistensi, akhirnya desain inilah yang dianggap klien paling merepresentasikan keinginan mereka. Sebuah desain dengan olahan fasad depan berupa lipatan-lipatan yang tak beraturan, yang menjadikannya sebagai point of interest dari bentukan fasad secara keseluruhan. Ide tersebut di ambil dari bentuk streamline yang biasanya ada pada eksterior mobil. Untuk pemilihan warna, warna orange yang kita jadikan aksen merupakan representasi dari semangat untuk terus berkembang, semangat dari pemilik showroom dan bengkel ini. Sedangkan untuk bangunan disebelah kanan pintu masuk mobil (bangunan toko variasi) sengaja dibuat dengan style berbeda dengan tujuan memberikan kesan keseimbangan (balance). Untuk mendukung kesan modern dan kontemporer, maka material yang digunakan juga dipilih material yang bisa memperkuat kesan modern, yaitu antara lain Kalsiboard (Kalsiclad) untuk fasad bagian depan, kaca, allucopan untuk fasad bagian belakang, dan juga metal (logam).

3. Eksterior View Malam

Selain kesan modern dan kontemporer, klien juga menghendaki kesan asri dan alami dengan memperbanyak pohon pada landscape. Dan ini kami respon dengan menanam beberapa pohon diarea parkir baik depan maupun belakang. Permainan lighting pada waktu malam hari juga membuat showroom dan bengkel ini lebih menarik dan lebih hidup. Biasanya bengkel akan terlihat sepi dan gelap, maka kami ubah persepsi tersebut, Bengkel pun tetap eksotis walaupun malam hari.

4. View ke Arah Musholla

Sisi belakang manghadap ke arah barat, sehingga selain bentukannya yang sengaja kami buat berbeda dengan bagian depan, alasan membuat sedikit mungkin bukaan juga menjadi prioritas kami untuk mereduksi panas yang masuk ke dalam ruangan ketika sore hari. Secara peruangan seluruh fungsi kegiatan dalam bangunan ini diwadahi dalam dua bangunan, bangunan pertama yang berada di bagian depan adalah terdiri dari :

1. Ruang showroom mobil bekas

2. Ruang toko variasi

3. Café dan ruang tunggu yang juga dilengkapi dengan musholla

4. Ruang kerja staff dan ruang direksi.

Sedangkan dibagian belakang :

1. Ruang workshop,

2. Tempat cuci mobil,

3. Musholla

4. Ruang karyawan (mekanik), dan

5. Gudang.

7. Showroom Mobil

Sesuai dengan tema eksterior yang mengedepankan desain dengan konsep modern futuristic, maka tema itu juga yang kami terapkan pada desain interior showroom mobil ini. Berbeda dengan desain eksterior yang di dominasi warna putih dengan aksen warna orange, untuk interior sebagai warna dominan kita pilih warna hitam dan putih, sedangkan untuk warna aksentuasi adalah warna biru yang sengaja di letak kan pada lighting untuk memberikan kesan modern dan lux. Kesan futuristic yang menekankankan konsep eco green juga menjadi pilihan. Desain Eco green di dalam ruangan bertujuan untuk mencapai perancangan yang ramah lingkungan dengan menerapkan secara total baik itu integrasi fisik, sistem, dan temporal pada area sekitarnya. Pencapaian tema eco green pada design interior showroom ini dicapai dengan adanya penanaman tumbuhan indoor di beberapa sudut ruangan. Sentuhan natural juga diletakkan pada area cashier dan receptionist yaitu pemilihan material batu andesit hitam yang disusun acak pada bagian backdrop.
